The Spurgeon Sermon Series is a growing collection of audio sermons recorded by pastor Gavin Childress for the continuation of Spurgeon's ministry. Just as through Abel's acceptable sacrifice, 'he being dead yet speaketh' (Heb. 11:4), we are delighted that by such recordings, the impact and influence of his message may be furthered. Each sermon was recorded for the Glory of God alone and the spread of His Glorious Gospel, aiming to magnify the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ, far above that of any instrument or vessel. You call it death and you you must have no faith in the Lord I don't call it death anymore I used to be afraid of death before I died or should I say murdered years ago let me tell you something about death I rather die the physical death of My flesh and be born in full Spirit than to live on this Earth and flushing spirit there is more pain here on Earth in full flesh and spirit that there is in full spirit I have experience both of them I rather I rather have a physical death than emotional and spiritual death that I'm having on this Earth because of

Spurgeon sermons make me 'contemplate'. This one also has me 'puzzling' out my sense of happiness. What at different times of life has my state of being been?
The Holy Spirit is unique, he is the Spirit of the Trinity and ia united with Imanuel, the Holy of Israel, along with my Gppd soul. Man does not share the Holy Spirit but the Supreme (A-O) Spirit.

Very profound and convicting!!! Thank you Br. Spurgeon. The Holy Spirit used you to convict my soul to set my house in order. Lord Jehovah in Jesus' name, please have mercy on me, my family and my Christian Brethren across the World. In and through Christ help us to walk holy lives as per Jesus' and His Disciples examples and not as the Pharisees or those of Satan's camp. Thank you Lord for restoring my candlestick. Amen.

I yielded to my temptation and allowed myself to participate in its wretchedness. Now I believe myself to be without hope. I cry out to God. Have mercy on me. But I find myself crying alone. I am most miserable. Is there some one out there who is like me but has gained victory? If so please share how.
I found CHS about 4 years ago and find little to be wary of in his 'interpretation' of scripture. 'BUT' how is a person to know when 'interpretation' is 'true'? Pray for guidance as per John 14th & 16th chapters?!?!!! I question work of Jonathan Edwards. Edwards states, 'hardening of heart is God withdrawing 'Spirit' and/or man's abuse and corruption'. Saul was 'given evil spirit' and this seems to contradict Edwards' 'interpretation'. I also 'wonder' about certain individuals like 'son of Sam' aka 'son of Hope' since 1985 as per website.
This message is not popular today and that's sad.
